VRO Area
Fax Board. Faxes are posted on this board after been sent, waiting Supplier Promise. They are removed after its receipt when the VRO Counter starts the discrepancies analysis.
Incoming Fax. It is used to receive and print all Supplier Promises. It is loaded with blue paper so it is easy to distinguish original Pick-Up Orders (white paper) and Supplier Promises (blue paper).
Outgoing Fax. It is used to send Pick-Up Orders to Suppliers. It is loaded with yellow paper so the transmission report can be stapled on the top of the original Pick-Up Order before been posted of the Fax Board (see best VRO Fax Board).
Template Cart. It contains blank Pick-Up Order templates. Based on the Counting Faxing Sequencer, the VRO Counter picks from it Pick-Up Orders to be filled and faxed during its Counting Wave.
Counting Faxing Sequencer. It defines VRO Counter daily tasks and is weekly updated based on MPS. It is the VRO Counter's check list to record for each Pick-Up Order to be processed:
- if it has been faxed;
- if its Promise was received on time.
- if it has been faxed;
- if its Promise was received on time.
In-Transit Cart. It contains all Pick-Up Orders faxed with their Supplier Promise stapled on top waiting to be received.

The VRO Area contains:
- Inbound Fax;
- Outbound Fax;
- Fax Board;
- a table to place the Counting Faxing Sequencer and to allow the Counter to check discrepancies;
- Template Cart;
- In-Transit Cart.
It has to be close of the Receiving Area so Receivers can easily pull out at the arrival of the truck Pick-Up Orders relative to the material received from the In-Transit Cart.
