Examples of KANBAN cards
This card shows:
- the production line (on the top);
- the shape linked to the reference;
- the quantity per Kanban card;
- the reference and the designation of the part.
This card would be more readable if the reference of the product to be produced was on a white background.
This card shows:
- the production area (on the top);
- the 2 shapes linked to the reference;
- the reference of the main sub-assembly to use (reference: "58399435") and where it is produced ("LP2");
- the reference of the part to produce (reference: "88141405") and its production line ("BTM");
- the visual description of the part (just below the reference: "Longueur balai : 450", i.e. "blade lengh: 450").
This card would be more readable if the reference of the product to be produced was on a white background.
In this example, the Kanban controls a flow with 2 steps of production (multi-process KANBAN). This card shows:
- the production area (on the top);
- the 2 shapes linked to the reference to produce;
- the reference of the main sub-assembly to use (reference: "58399705") and where it is produced ("LP2");
- the reference of the intermediate state of the transformation (reference: "58399707") and where it is produced ("MR");
- the reference of the part to produce (reference: "88067804") and its production line;
- the visual description of it just below the reference ("Longueur balai : 600", i.e. "blade lengh: 600").
